Mansfield Woman Dies in Crash on I-495
A 54-year-old woman died in a two-car crash on Interstate 495 Southbound in Mansfield Tuesday evening, according to Massachusetts State Police.
At 6:45 p.m., troopers responded to reports of a crash near Exit 11. According to police, Elizabetha O’Connor, of Mansfield, lost control of her vehicle and collided with a 2001 Isuzu Trooper. The driver of the Trooper, Joseph Bernadeau, 63, of Brockton, was not injured, according to police.
O’Connor was ejected in the process, and later transported to Rhode Island Hospital, according to police. She died due to injuries sustained in the crash.
