Are You Coming to Work Early Enough? Boston Workers Get in at 8:11 a.m.
We’re not judging…. but if you’re getting into the office later than 8:11 a.m., you’re late… well, late relative to the rest of Boston’s workers.
That’s a finding contained in the US Census Bureau’s American Community Survey and broken down in FiveThirtyEight.
It shows that compared to New York City workers’ median arrival time (8:24 a.m.), Bostonians show up to work about 13 minutes earlier, at 8:11 a.m.
Boston employees arrive at work about nine minutes later than their counterparts in Chicago (8:02 a.m.).
As far as we know, there’s no word in the survey regarding how much coffee any of those workers consume relative to folks in other cities, although the good folks at Dunks, Starbucks, etc. would likely be happy to supply that data.
