Just days after last year’s shocking election, Kate McKinnon opened Saturday Night Live with a moving rendition of the late Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.
In last night’s season finale, SNL again opened with Hallelujah, but with a new character on the keys — along with some friends.
Alec Baldwin, in his recurring portrayal of President Donald Trump, was soon joined by McKinnon’s Kellyanne Conway, Beck Bennett’s Mike Pence, and the this season’s iterations of Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Steve Bannon, Melania Trump, and Scarlett Johansson’s Ivanka Trump.
It’s unclear if Baldwin was actually playing the piano.

Like McKinnon, Baldwin looked into the camera when the song finished and delivered a message.
