Joe Biden to guest star on ‘Law & Order: SVU’ next week
Vice President Joe Biden is trying out acting on an NBC scripted series yet again.
Biden will guest star on Law & Order: SVU next week during the hit show’s 18th season.
Biden, appearing as himself, will appear on the season’s second episode, which is scheduled to air Wednesday, September 28, at 9 p.m., according to Entertainment Tonight. The episode, titled “Making a Rapist,” is about a convicted rapist exonerated due to newly tested DNA evidence after 16 years in prison, ET reports.
Mariska Hargitay, who plays Lt. Olivia Benson, told ET that Biden’s upcoming appearance was “a dream come true.”
“Joe Biden is one of the greatest people on this planet,” she said.
Hargitay is not the only one excited about the vice president’s appearance. Fans took to Twitter Wednesday night after the show previewed his appearance.
Biden’s on SVU next week and I am PRAYING it’s a backdoor pilot for a detective show that he will be headlining.
