Just in time for the Thanksgiving rush, a 5-vehicle crash on 495
The Westborough Fire Department said to expect delays on the northbound side of the highway near the Route 9 ramps.
Authorities responded to a five-vehicle crash on I-495 northbound in Westborough Wednesday afternoon, the Westborough Fire Department said in a social media post.
Four units respond to the crash between the Route 9 ramps, the post said. Drivers are to expect delays as the officials said they shut down the majority of I-495 northbound, leaving one lane open to traffic.
Multiple people were injured during the crash and taken to the hospital, the post said.
