Boston morphs into a game of Ms. Pac-Man today on Google Maps
You can spend the rest of your April Fools’ Day playing Ms. Pac-Man around Boston’s streets, thanks to Google Maps.
To play, head over to Google Maps and type in a location. Click on the “Insert Coin” image of Ms. Pac-Man in the lower left corner of the map, and voila!, the map turns into a game board.
Use your keyboard arrows to move Ms. Pac-Man around the city’s streets, then have fun choosing different locations. Gobble up pac-dots in the North End, at Faneuil Hall, along Boylston Street, and around Fenway Park.
Just watch out for those pesky ghosts: Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Sue.
In honor of Opening Day on Monday, here’s what the area around Fenway Park looks like as a Ms. Pac-Man board. Ms. Pac-Man is making her way down Landsdowne Street, and the ghosts are hanging out on Fenway Plaza:
