Apple Snubs Bose, Clears Products From Stores
Apple has reportedly cleared a local company’s products from its online and brick and mortar stores, as it has stopped selling Bose products.
Although the reasons for the split with the Framingham-based audio equipment company aren’t crystal clear, Apple and Bose have been feuding of late.
Apple recently acquired the uber-popular headphone company Beats, which has led to tension. Bose and Beats aren’t exactly the best of friends, with the rivalry highlighted by a lawsuit filed by Bose for patent infringement over its noise-cancelling technology. That suit was settled late last week under confidential terms.
The move by Apple was originally reported a week ago by MacRumors, and is now being seen in stores according to severalreports.
