John Kerry to Climate Doubters: Catastrophe Ahead
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry doesn’t mince words when it comes to climate change skeptics.
“If they’re wrong: catastrophe,’’ Kerry is reported to have said Thursday morning during a speech at the Wind Technology Testing Center in Charlestown. “Life as you know it on Earth ends.’’
“Climate change can seem like a distant, future challenge. It’s dangerous to believe we have time to wait,’’ he said.
Kerry is touring the WTTC with Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond of the United Kingdom.
