Sami Herbawi, owner of Andala Coffee House in Central Square and member of the Harvard Square Business Association, told The Boston Globe that she has taken over the business from its previous owner, Emil Durzi, who is dealing with health issues. She said the Brattle Street shop will still serve up its same menu, as well as coffees and teas, that its customers have come to know and love.
The two-floor cafe, a staple for students, first opened in 1971.
