Chef Jeremy Sewall, Skip Bennett, Garrett Harker, and Shore Gregory—the team behind the Kenmore Square oyster bar and the Seaport’s Row 34—will be bringing their farm-to-table experience to 300 District Ave. in Burlington, The Burlington Union reported.
“Six years ago we stuck our necks out and opened Island Creek Oyster Bar in city,” Bennett told the Union. “Based on the success of that, we realized that there’s this opportunity to bring oysters out to the public. Bringing it out here to Burlington is just another step in that renaissance.”
The team told the Union that though the space will have its own identity and feel, customers can expect the same seafood they love from the restaurant’s namesake oyster farm in Duxbury on the menu.
“The food at its core is certainly a New England oyster bar,” Sewall said in the interview. “It starts with oysters, goes to fried clams, fish and chips –things you’d come to expect at a New England oyster bar. It’s working with local fisherman and farmers to fill in the rest of the stuff.”
