Boloco gave away free burritos Wednesday to support David Ortiz’s charity. Did you miss it? (We did.)

But hey, no worries; because they’re doing it again Thursday.

This time the free burritos are at Boloco’s Emerson College location on Boston Common (corner of Boylton Street and Park Plaza) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

It’s the eclectic Boston-based burrito chain’s second of seven planned “Free Burrito Days” in support of the David Ortiz Children’s Fund.

While the burrito is technically free, the company strongly suggests making a donation to the endorsement-happy slugger’s charity, which raises money for in-need children in New England and the Dominican Republic.

As Boloco CEO John Pepper suggests, “bring a buck or 2.” Or more.

Earlier this summer, the company released a burrito inspired by Big Papi—who Pepper says is rumored to have “consumed up to two Boloco burritos prior to each home game in Boston”—which features Ortiz’s own line of salsa, guacamole, pinto beans, hot sauce, brown rice, lettuce and cheddar cheese.

Sounds like a big lunch. But it’s a big lunch for a cause.
