Buttigieg, Vance will be stumping at Mass. fundraisers this weekend
Vance comes to Gloucester Saturday and Buttigieg will be in Boston Sunday.

US Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance are both scheduled to come to Massachusetts this weekend for separate fundraising events.
Vance plans to come to Gloucester on Saturday for a fundraising event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. hosted by Mike and Renee Minogue and co-hosted by RNC Committeewoman Janet Fogarty and Bob and Laura Reynolds.
Cost to attend ranges from $5,000 to $100,000 per couple, according to an event invitation shared by Politico.
A photo-op is priced at $15,000, according to the invitation.
Buttigieg is coming to Boston the day after for a brunch reception fundraiser for Vice President Kamala Harris’s joint fundraising committee, hosted by Bryan Rafanelli and Mark Walsh.

Buttigieg, a “special guest” at the event, is “participating in his personal capacity.”
“His participation is not a solicitation of funds,” the event posting says.
The brunch event is the latest in a series of Democratic fundraisers in Massachusetts, which has many Democratic donors.
The visits will come after the vice presidential debate, set to take place at 9 p.m. Tuesday night, at the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City. The 90-minute debate between Vance and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz will not have an audience and Vance, who won a virtual coin toss, opted to go second with his closing statement.
