How the Mass. congressional delegation reacted to Kamala Harris being Biden’s VP pick
“I’m SO looking forward to seeing Kamala take on Mike Pence on the debate stage.”
Members of the Massachusetts congressional delegation are cheering the selection of California Sen. Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s running mate.
Back when Kamala was Attorney General, she worked closely with Beau. I watched as they took on the big banks, lifted up working people, and protected women and kids from abuse. I was proud then, and I’m proud now to have her as my partner in this campaign.

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who was herself a serious contender to be Biden’s vice president pick, wrote Tuesday afternoon following the announcement that Harris would be a “great partner to Joe Biden in making our government a powerful force for good in the fight for social, racial, and economic justice.”
Below, what other Massachusetts politicians are saying about Harris being picked to join Biden’s ticket:
Sen. Ed Markey
Senator @KamalaHarris is a visionary legislator, a progressive trailblazer, and a relentless fighter for justice. She will make an outstanding Vice President.
