Christine Blasey Ford appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, testifying that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when she was 15 years old at a high school gathering in the 1980s.

Even before the hearing got underway, Massachusetts politicians, including Republican Gov. Charlie Baker, weighed in on the proceedings and allegations that have been brought forward against Kavanaugh.

Ford is one of three women who have come forward with claims of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh, who has denied all the allegations. He delivered his own testimony on Thursday, following Ford’s appearance.
