Joe Biden’s book tour is coming to Boston
Joe Biden is making a stop in Boston as part of a fall book tour announced Monday.
The former vice president and longtime Delaware senator is releasing a memoir titled Promise Me, Dad on November 14, which he is promoting on the newly announced American Promise Tour.
Biden will visit the Wilbur Theatre in downtown Boston on December 4. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. event — which range from $59 to $125 and include a copy of Biden’s forthcoming book — go on presale at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The monthlong book tour is described as “a series of conversations that will go beyond the 24-hour news cycle and 140-character arguments to connect friends and neighbors around the topics that matter most.”
According to The Wilbur’s event page, Biden will share how he balanced his professional life in politics with a personal life filled with tragedy, as well as “how he is finding new purpose in a time of uncertainty.”
If his speech at Harvard this spring is any indication, expect a lot of local references, too.
