Mass. lawmakers denounce Trump’s ‘unhinged and shameful’ attacks on Mika Brzezinski
Massachusetts lawmakers were quick to denounce President Donald Trump’s tweets Thursday attacking MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski’s appearance and temperament.
“Americans deserve a president, not a petty schoolyard bully,” Rep. Jim McGovern said on Twitter, calling Trump’s comments “‘sexist” and “unhinged and shameful.”
Americans deserve a president, not a petty schoolyard bully. These sexist comments have no place in the @WhiteHouse. Unhinged and shameful. pic.twitter.com/l6MWAKaf0z

Senator Ed Markey called Trump’s tweets “unpresidential” and said the commander-in-chief should apologize for them.
If you can’t stifle the press, then you attack them personally. Today’s tweets from Donald Trump are unpresidential and warrant an apology.

In this morning’s tweet storm, Trump attacked Brzezinski and her co-host Joe Scarborough, referring to them as “low I.Q. Crazy Mika” and “Psycho Joe,” and disparaging the female host’s looks.
I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..
