As expected, former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton attended the inauguration of her 2016 election opponent, President Donald Trump.

Despite their bitter campaign, Clinton—who was in the crowd beside her husband, former President Bill Clinton—tweeted that she was attending “to honor our democracy & its enduring values.”

As many observers noted, Clinton was wearing all-white, as she did during key moments of her presidential campaign, including after securing the Democratic nomination, during her nomination acceptance speech, and during the final debate.
