Democrats file to extend voting hours in N.H. stronghold
In the presidential swing state of New Hampshire, Republican and Democratic lawyers are preparing for a possible last-minute ruling on whether polls can stay open for an additional hour in the Democratic stronghold of Dover.
The issue stemmed from a Tuesday morning email from Dover city officials to roughly 250 residents with incorrect information — that the polls will close at 8 p.m. Polls were scheduled to close at 7 p.m.
