How to watch some of Broadway’s biggest stars perform live at Monday’s Hillary Clinton fundraiser

Some of Broadway’s biggest stars will be singing Hillary Clinton’s praises Monday night.

The candidate’s campaign will partake in “Broadway for Hillary,” a fundraising event featuring performances by A-list celebrities like Sara Bareilles, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, Neil Patrick Harris, Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda, Helen Mirren, and Julia Roberts, and others, according to Variety.

The event, located at the St. James Theatre in New York City, will raise funds for the Hillary Victory Fund by selling tickets ranging from $45 for one seat to the show to $100,000, which nabs you 10 premium seats and two tickets to an after-party with the campaign and celebrity guests, Politico reports.

Some of the celebrities making appearances at the fundraiser have local ties.

Bareilles, who wrote the music and lyrics for the Broadway musical Waitress, which began at Harvard University’s American Repertory Theater, will perform, as will Gyllenhaal, who’s not only starring in benefit performances of the musical Sunday in the Park with George at New York City Center on October 24-26but is also cast as Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman in the coming film, Stronger. Uzo Aduba, a Medfield native who appears American Pastoral, opening October 28, has been endorsing the secretary of state with her fellow Orange Is the New Black cast members since 2015.

Tony winner and ART artistic director Diane Paulus is also on the playbill, acting as a special consultant for the fundraising show.

Viewers can live-stream the event starting at 8:30 p.m. Monday on the campaign website, or on Hillary Clinton’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
