Saturday Night Live takes on the second presidential debate, Donald Trump’s lurking, and—of course—Ken Bone
The skit apparently got to Trump, who responded Sunday by calling the show "boring and unfunny."

“Welcome to the second and worst ever presidential debate,” Cecily Strong opened as moderator Martha Raddatz in Saturday Night Live‘s spoof of last Sunday’s ugly showdown between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
With rookie castmember Alex Moffat as Anderson Cooper, the two faux moderators proceeded to take a shot before diving into the debate questions.
“Much better,” Strong said. “Now lets get this nightmare started.”
In the SNL‘s second presidential debate spoof, Kate McKinnon tackled Clinton’s awkward attempts to be relatable and Alec Baldwin gave his Jaws-inspired take on Trump’s even-more-awkward pacing of the debate stage (there was even a sighting of debate questioner-turned-internet obsession Ken Bone).

While the debate sketch, if not the entire show, was well–reviewed, there was at least one person who did not find it funny: Trump himself.
Shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday morning, the Republican presidential nominee tweeted, called the piece a “hit job” and said SNL should be retired. The Washington Post notes that while SNL has pulled no punches in the past, this week’s debate cold open and Melania Trump-Lemonade parody were particularly biting.
Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me.Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!

Does that mean he won’t be coming back for a post-election encore as host?
