During Sunday night’s presidential debate, Donald Trump said he’d hire a special prosecutor to look into Hillary Clinton’s “lies” and “deception” if he were elected president during a lengthy riff on her use of a private email server as Secretary of State.

“I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation, because there has never been so many lies, so much deception,” Trump said. “There has never been anything like it.”

“Honestly, you ought to be ashamed of yourself,” he said.

As Trump spoke, Clinton broke into laughter.

In her response, Clinton said she was glad that a person like Trump wasn’t in charge of the laws of the country.

“Because you’d be in jail,” he retorted.
