Donald Trump again refers to lewd comments as ‘locker room’ talk
Echoing an earlier statement, Donald Trump gave a brief apology at Sunday night’s debate for bragging about groping women without their consent in a newly released 2005 video, dismissing the comments as “locker room talk” and saying he never did the things he bragged about.
“This was locker room talk. I’m not proud of it,” he said. “I apologized.”
Trump defended his position on women, saying that his remarks were “just words,” but admitted he was “embarrassed” by the video.
“I have great respect for women,” he said. “Nobody has more respect for women than I do.”
And then he transitioned to talking about ISIS.
