Elizabeth Warren trashes Donald Trump’s debate performance on Twitter

Senator Elizabeth Warren speaks Saturday in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The Donald Trump-Elizabeth Warren Twitter feud doesn’t seem to be letting up anytime soon.
Just as the debate wrapped up, the Massachusetts senator took to Twitter to praise Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s performance in the debate while criticizing that of her Republican challenger Trump, saying he put forth lies and conspiracy theories alongside Clinton’s policy plans.
.@realDonaldTrump proved once again tonight: He’s a thin-skinned bully who doesn’t care about anyone but himself. #debatenight

.@realDonaldTrump’s economic plan? Cut taxes for billionaires & the rules on Wall Street, & leave working families behind. #debatenight

The man who was ranting & raving on stage tonight has no business controlling our economy OR our nuclear codes. #debatenight

.@HillaryClinton was prepared for the debate & she’s prepared for the presidency. @realDonaldTrump only prepared lies & conspiracy theories.

Warren has used Twitter as a tool to air her grievances against the Republican nominee throughout both the primary and general election campaigns. Trump has fired back with his own tweets, calling the senator “goofy,” and also referring to her as “Pocahontas.”
The months-long feud, which has gained national attention and was parodied by The Simpsons, seems likely to continue up until election day. Trump didn’t immediately engage in a new battle with Warren, but did take to Twitter to express his discontent with the night’s topics.
Nothing on emails. Nothing on the corrupt Clinton Foundation. And nothing on #Benghazi. #Debates2016 #debatenight
