After brain surgery, state Sen. Ken Donnelly is ‘resting comfortably’

State Sen. Ken Donnelly underwent brain surgery Tuesday at Massachusetts General Hospital to remove a tumor, according to a post on his Facebook page.

The Arlington Democrat’s surgery went well, according to the post, and he is “resting comfortably.” He was admitted to the hospital Sunday evening.

“The family is overwhelmed with all the love and support they have received,” the post reads. “Please keep all the positive energy flowing in his direction.”
