Elizabeth Warren to JK Rowling: ‘Looking for a Defense Against the Dark Arts prof?’
Elizabeth Warren thinks she’d be a perfect candidate to teach at America’s Hogwarts in Massachusetts.
J.K. Rowling’s newest Harry Potter spinoff, published Tuesday on Pottermore, details the history of the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which sits atop Mount Greylock, the highest natural point in Massachusetts, in the Berkshires.
The Massachusetts senator, and former Harvard Law professor, tweeted about the magical story Wednesday, asking where she could apply for a job at the school. She also took the opportunity to fire another shot at Donald Trump.
Looking for a Defense Against the Dark Arts prof, @jk_rowling? Where do I apply? Trump, Death Eaters – I got this! https://t.co/TDgHbeyApU

In the tweet, the Massachusetts senator equates Trump to a “Death Eater,” or a follower of the evil Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter series.
Warren apparently isn’t the only Massachusetts senator who’s a Harry Potter fan.
Senator Ed Markey also tweeted following Rowling’s newest release.
