Donald Trump says he hopes Elizabeth Warren is Clinton’s VP choice
Another day, another Trump-Warren fight.
Donald Trump tried to goad Hillary Clinton into selecting Sen. Elizabeth Warren as her running mate in a tweet on Friday morning, a remark that sparked a quick putdown from the senator.
Warren announced on Rachel Maddow’s show on Thursday night that she was endorsing Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, for president. The U.S. senator from Massachusetts also was asked if she thought she was ready to be commander-in-chief should she be chosen as Clinton’s vice president.
“Yes, I do,” Warren said.

Trump reacted on Friday morning in a tweet, referring to Warren again as “Pocahontas” and “goofy” and said she had a “nasty mouth.” He also added an extra line, relishing the chance of facing a Clinton-Warren ticket.
Pocahontas is at it again! Goofy Elizabeth Warren, one of the least productive U.S. Senators, has a nasty mouth. Hope she is V.P. choice.

Warren, borrowing a tactic Clinton debuted on Thursday, told Trump what to do with his tweets.
