Elizabeth Warren will endorse Hillary Clinton tonight
After President Barack Obama officially weighed in Thursday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren has reportedly moved forward her plans to endorse presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
MSNBC confirmed Thursday afternoon that the Massachusetts senator will confer her long-awaited backing Thursday night on network’s The Rachel Maddow Show.

The endorsement will reportedly come during an exclusive interview at 9 p.m. with MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, who began her broadcasting career on local radio shows in Massachusetts.
The Boston Globe’s Annie Linskey, who reported Warren’s endorsement intentions Wednesday, first reported the plans Thursday.

Warren is also scheduled to make a speech Thursday night sometime after 7 p.m. at the American Constitution Society’s national convention in Washington, D.C., in which she is expected to put the blame for Donald Trump’s recent allegedly racist comments on Republican leaders in the House and Senate.
According to Linskey, Warren, the only Democratic woman in the Senate yet to endorse the former secretary of state, had initially planned to endorse Clinton next week.
President Obama endorsed Clinton in an online video Thursday afternoon, calling for Democrats to unify around the party’s presumptive nominee, who he said he believes would be the most qualified person to hold the office of the presidency.
Obama also thanked Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders for an “incredible campaign.”
Sanders said Thursday that he plans to continue his campaign up to July’s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, but said he looks forward to meeting with Clinton to discuss how to together defeat Trump.
