Trump tax talk splits conservatives

Trump’s surprisingly populist tax plan is unsurprisingly causing a split among conservatives.

Despite staunchly conservative views on immigration, climate change, foreign policy (and pretty much everything else), Trump’s plan for taxes involves decreasing deductions for the Wall Street and hedge fund crowd, and lowering taxes for the middle class, The Boston Globe reports.

Trump has promised to unveil a full tax plan by the end of September, the Globe reports, but his initial stance has won him an ally in the form of liberal figure, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren.

Rival GOP candidate Jeb Bush publicly criticized Trump for the liberal tax plan, the Globe reports, but also has some less traditionally conservative portions in his own plan.
