Donald Trump will speak at car dealer’s political fundraiser
New England car dealer Ernie Boch Jr. isn’t exactly endorsing Donald Trump for president — but he is intrigued by him.
“What attracts me to Mr. Trump is that he is not a politician and that he doesn’t speak like a politician. And to me, that’s refreshing,’’ the president and CEO of Boch Enterprises told The Boston Globe.
Trump will be a featured guest at a political fundraiser, “Ernie’s Summer Bash,’’ being hosted by Boch at his Norwood mansion on August 28, according to a report by The Globe. Those invited to the three-hour event will have to pay $100 to get in to hear Trump’s speech.
“I’m not telling people who to vote for,’’ Boch, a registered Republican, told The Globe. “I’m just here to bring people together to listen to him talk and let them decide on their own.’’
