In new book, Geithner describes an apparent Scott Brown double standard

Monday’s Politico Playbook contains a notable excerpt from former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s newly released memoir “Stress Test: Reflections on Financial Crises’’ involving former Massachusetts US Senator (and current candidate for US Senate in New Hampshire) Scott Brown:

Geithner is also quoted in the book as saying he thought about stepping down as Treasury Secretary after the financial crisis and suggested Hillary Rodham Clinton as someone who could possibly succeed him, the Associated Press reported.
