Martin J. Walsh rolls out new ad featuring his ‘all-star team’ during World Series Game 5
[fragment number=0]Mayoral candidate Martin J. Walsh plans to air a new campaign ad just before the first pitch of Game 5 of the World Series.
The Red Sox are still in St. Louis, and the game airs tonight at 8 p.m. on WFXT-TV (Channel 25).
With the Series tied 2-2, Walsh’s campaign said in an e-mail to supporters that the game “is big for a lot of reasons — but there’s one reason that’s really important to me. We’re launching our brand-new TV ad featuring another all-star team: Charlotte Golar Richie, John Barros, and Felix Arroyo.’’

Golar Richie, Barros, and Arroyo were the top three vote-getting candidates of color during the preliminary election and considered coveted endorsements.
Walsh, a state representative, is rolling out his “all-star team’’ in the 33-second ad titled “One Boston,’’ which features statements by all three of his rivals-turned-supporters.
