Family members and friends are remembering Aaron DiBella, 21, of Peabody, for his “infectious smile” and “ability to light up a room,” according to his obituary. “Aaron lived his life to the fullest, enjoying every moment, and he encouraged all his friends and family to do the same,” his loved ones wrote.In his free time, DiBella enjoyed exercising at the gym, having first started weight-lifting with his father at a young age, according to his obituary. He drowned after falling overboard off of a Bay State Cruise ship Saturday night near Hull.

DIBELLA – Aaron Joseph, 21, of Peabody, formerly of Danvers passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Cherished son of Joseph and Suzanne (Spendlove) DiBella. Dear brother of Samantha DiBella of Peabody. Beloved grandson of Waldo and Winnie Spendlove of Fredonia, AZ, and Eileen and the late David Marcus of Danvers. Caring nephew of Lou and Ann Marie DiBella of Danvers. Loving step son to Robert Bisegna and his two sons Austin and Anthony of Peabody, and step mother Julie MacDonald and her two children Julianne and Jimmy Belschner. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

Aaron found his passion in his work, friends, and family. Outside of work he loved the gym and started lifting with his dad at a young age. He lit up every room he came into and touched every soul with his infectious smile. Aaron lived his life to the fullest, enjoying every moment and he encouraged all his friends and family to do the same.

Family and friends will honor Aaron’s life by gathering in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, 400 Essex Street, Lynnfield, MA on Saturday, September 15 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM.
