A 58-year-old Boston man who was fatally shot in Jamaica Plain on Friday is being remembered by his loved ones for being a loving father, caring brother, and grandfather to 11 grandchildren.
Authorities say Clayborn Blair, a Navy veteran, was an innocent victim in a gang-related shooting outside the Mildred C. Hailey Apartments that claimed the life of another young bystander.

Navy Veteran Clayborn Blair passed tragically on Friday, May 4, 2018 in Roxbury, MA.
Born in Boston, MA on August 10, 1959 to the late Barbara Blair.
He was a loving father to Brandie, Candie and Tyrone. Blessed to have eleven grand children.
He was a caring brother to Sharon (Florida), Gary (Maine), Robert (Florida), Deborah, Rosetta, Cora, Delilah, Crystal and Rhonda all of MA. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Predeceased by his mother and sisters Gail and Angela.
Service times are tentative, specific times of services will be posted shortly.
Visitation with family on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Greater Love Tabernacle Church, 101 Nightingale Street, Dorchester, MA 02124.
Celebration of life services will follow the visitation also at the church. Private family interment will be held with St. Michael Crematory, Boston, MA.
