Dog rescued from icy river in New Hampshire
Firefighters in Hampton, New Hampshire, rescued a dog from an icy river Friday morning.
The Hampton Fire Department received a call at about 7:40 a.m. saying that a dog had fallen through ice in the Taylor River nearly 40 feet from the shore. Upon arriving at the river, firefighters found the dog still in the water.
Using a neighbor’s boat, two rescue swimmers made their way through the icy river and pulled the dog to safety, the department said.
