A sinkhole closed I-93 North near Concord, New Hampshire, on Wednesday afternoon, causing severe delays, according to theNew Hampshire Trooper’s Association.
Police said that they are diverting traffic at exit 13 at this time, and have asked drivers to seek alternate routes.
Repairing the hole may require authorities to close the southbound lanes as well, Fox 25 reported. Southbound traffic is also delayed.
New Hampshire State Police told Boston.com they have not yet figured out what caused the sinkhole to form, or how deep it is.
