Video: Parents of Kendrick Castillo, killed trying to stop shooter at STEM School Highlands Ranch, speak about son’s heroism
“I know that because of what he did, others are alive,” John Castillo told CNN. “And I thank God for that. I love him. And he’s a hero, and he always will be. But there’s another part of you that wishes that he would have turned and ran, retreated, hid.”
Hero student Kendrick Castillo’s parents say they’re not surprised he died trying to stop the Colorado school shooter.
