Barack and Michelle Obama returned to Twitter Tuesday to exchange Valentine’s Day messages with each other.

The husband and wife each posted the notes, paired with a photo, within an hour of the other:

The former president and first lady have been on a hiatus from social media since leaving the White House. It was the first tweet sent out from Michelle Obama’s account since Inauguration Day, when she said she’d be taking “a little break.”

The couple spent time vacationing in Palm Springs, California, and in the British Virgin Islands after leaving Washington in January, but are now back in the nation’s capital, according to CNN.
