Capuano joins Clark, will skip Trump’s inauguration

WASHINGTON — After initially being noncommittal, Representative Michael Capuano, whose district includes the liberal areas of Somerville and Cambridge, has announced that he will skip Friday’s inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.

In a series of tweets posted Wednesday , Capuano said that instead of attending the swearing-in Friday, he will hold an open house at his Cambridge district office.
