Emerson-grad boyfriend of slain Virginia TV reporter: ‘I am numb’
The boyfriend and coworker of Alison Parker, one of the two Virginia journalists killed in a shooting filmed live on air, shared a series of heartbreaking photos and stories of the slain reporter.
Chris Hurst, a graduate of Emerson College, said he and the 24-year-old Parker had been dating for almost nine months. Parker and cameraman Adam Ward, both of WDBJ-TV, were shot and killed while doing a routine interview Wednesday morning.
“I am numb,’’ Hurst wrote in one Twitter message Wednesday morning.
