The U.S. and Cuba re-open embassies for first time in five decades
Mojitos, cigars and Cuban flags abound from Havana to D.C. as the two countries re-established diplomatic relations

For the first time in 54 years, the U.S. and Cuba re-opened their embassies in Havana and Washington, respectively.
Secretary of State John Kerry and Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez held a dual press conference at the Department of State in Washington, as individuals on the streets both celebrated and protested the end of an era.
