OK, maybe Rachel Dolezal was right about this one thing
Rachel Dolezal has been wrong about a lot lately. But she was ahead of the curve on one thing: criticizing the dominance of white men on U.S. currency.
On Wednesday the U.S. Treasury announced that a woman’s portrait will be put on the $10 bill.
Dolezal was way ahead of you, U.S. Treasury. In an April 2012 video uploaded to YouTube, she toasted good art and financial abundance before reflecting on how our lives are driven by currency that has no portrayals of women or people of color.
“What does that do to our image?’’ she asks, “How does that affect us psychologically?’’

There’s no word yet on who the woman will be on the $10 bill. It probably won’t be Dolezal.
