Bay Area Residents Post Quake Images to Social Media

The San Francisco Bay area was wracked by a strong earthquake Sunday morning, causing widespread damage, fires and injuries throughout the area. The quake registered a 6.0 on the Richter Scale. More than 70 people were treated in just one Northern California hospital alone, according to the Associated press.

Residents and news services in the area immediately flooded social media with photos of the damage.
