Human Remains Found in Falmouth
On Sunday night, human remains were found in the Beebe Woods in Falmouth, according to The Cape Cod Times.
According to the Times, Beebe Woods is “a 319-acre swath of land behind Highfield Hall and Gardens and includes a network of walking trails, wooded ridges and several ponds.’’
Two Falmouth residents were walking in the woods and reported what they considered to be human remains off the trail around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, according to The Boston Globe.
The Times reported that members of state medical examiner’s office arrived at Beebe Woods around 1 p.m. Monday and left around 2:30 p.m., but were not carrying a body bag.
According to NECN, evidence investigators have thus far suggested that there was no foul play in this incident.
