A flash flood warning is not a guarantee that you’re going to get stuck in your car on the highway. But sometimes, it happens, and when it does, it’s terrifying. Global News posted this video of Long Island drivers stranded on flooded highways:

The same storm system that produced these floods weakened as it blew into Massachusetts, but it did trigger multiple flash flood warnings, watches and advisories.
