Reports: Doctor, Two Others Shot at Pennsylvania Hospital
Three people, including one doctor, were shot at the Mercy-Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, Pennsylvania on Thursday afternoon. One female victim had died, according to Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan.
A suspected shooter has been taken into custody, and Whelan said the suspect had been shot during the incident. The suspect and doctor were driven to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to an official, the suspected shooter opened fire in the Psychiatric office of the wellness center, which is located just across from Mercy-Fitzgerald Hospital.
