American Apparel Celebrated the Fourth by Posting a Photo of the Challenger Disaster
You can’t blame the young for the things that happened before they were born. And you can’t really blame them for not knowing stuff you remember, like who played centerfield for the 1949 Red Sox.
But it’s pretty safe to assume teenagers know about some of America’s biggest tragedies, like the JFK assassination or the attack on Pearl Harbor. Or the Challenger disaster.
American Apparel’s hired hand on social media missed that last bit of American history.

American Apparel quickly pulled the image down, but not before the embarrassing mistake was captured by angry readers:
