A track coach was fired by his Oklahoma college and told he was let go because he ran in the Boston Marathon.

Deadspin running blog Fittish reports Matt Aguero was first suspended for running in Boston in 2013. By running again this year, he apparently crossed a line no one but the school’s Athletic Director can see.

In addition to running the marathon, Potter was angry Aguero didn’t press a student to come back sooner from bereavement leave, according to Fittish. The student’s grandfather had died.
