A Dallas station’s talk show went off the rails Wednesday when the conversation turned toward Michael Sam kissing his partner during the NFL draft.

Sam, the openly gay University of Missouri player, kissed his boyfriend when he was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round of last week’s NFL draft. ESPN caught the moment on camera, and the clip has aired throughout the weekend and into this week.

It was a package-made topic for Dallas station KXTD’s local “The View’’ knockoff “The Broadcast,’’ but things got heated quickly and finally boiled over when host Amy Kushnir stood up, declared she was “gonna go to Midland’’ and stomped off the set.
