Fans going to see Kenny Chesney at Gillette Stadium this summer will be treated to an extra long show.

The Foxborough Board of Selectmen voted Tuesday night to allow an extended curfew for both shows later this month. The stadium’s curfew, which is normally 11:15 p.m., is now 11:30 p.m. for the Friday, August 26, show, and 11:40 p.m. for the Saturday, August 27, show. If either concert goes over time, the stadium could face a fine.

The later end time was requested by Chesney’s team to accommodate his “end of the tour activities” in which he brings his crew on stage for a thank you, according to Foxborough Patch.

Guns N’ Roses weren’t as lucky with the Board of Selectman with their shows at the stadium in July. Their request to extend the curfew for their Tuesday and Wednesday night shows were denied for being on weeknights.

In addition to Chesney, country stars Sam Hunt, Miranda Lambert, and Old Dominion will take the stage at Gillette Stadium for the concerts. Both shows start at 5 p.m.
