WCVB Channel 5 anchor Randy Price injured in bike mishap
"Bruised and battered...with a face full of stitches ... and a slight concussion ... I’m lucky it wasn’t worse!"
Channel 5 morning news anchor Randy Price was hospitalized in New Hampshire over the weekend after a bicycle accident.
Price posted two photos of himself at Portsmouth Regional Hospital with a bloodied face.
Price said the injuries were the result of a “bike mishap’’ that happened near his house Saturday.
“I am tremendously thankful for my neighbors, my husband, Mark [Steffen], friends, paramedics with American Ambulance and the great emergency room team at Portsmouth Hospital,’’ Price posted to Facebook Saturday evening.
“Bruised and battered . . . with a face full of stitches . . . and a slight concussion . . . I’m lucky it wasn’t worse!’’ he wrote.
He had some words of wisdom for fellow cyclists: “Wear your helmets.’’
